Job summary

829 Studios, a Boston-based digital marketing agency, seeks a Lead Paid Search Strategist to manage enterprise client campaigns and coordinate with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, communication, and delivering high-quality results.

You will mentor junior colleagues over time and may oversee direct reports. The position offers a remote/work-from-home option across many states, including Texas, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years managing paid advertising programs, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficiency with Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
• Strong analytics knowledge (Google Analytics, Hubspot Analytics, or similar).
• Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
• Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or similar.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of enterprise-sized businesses.
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns relative to client goals, conversions, and events.
• Provide regular client updates on the status of digital initiatives.
• Prepare client deliverables from kickoff documents to rolling reporting.
• Develop and outline projections and forecasting for client executive teams early and continuously.
• Advise clients on how to best accomplish business goals through digital advertising.
• Present effectively to client POCs and executive/board members at different levels.
• Serve as a technical resource to other departments, committees, and peers.
• Conceptualize and implement departmental process improvements.
• Assist with candidate interviews and departmental hiring process.
• Onboard, coach, and supervise junior reports if interested.
