Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex capital projects in PET preforms and rigid containers across multiple sites, from conception to qualification. You will review products from a manufacturing perspective and drive productivity within budget and schedule constraints.

This role requires seven years of engineering and project management experience in plastics packaging, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage on-site projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Seven years of professional engineering experience in plastics packaging.
• Experience managing multiple resources and complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Create bills of materials for new capital projects and support capital appropriation.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are included in project scope and budget.
• Develop action plans from feasibility studies with regional input.
• Review plant infrastructure and equipment against project requirements and manage upgrades.
• Analyze performance and cost of equipment and communicate issues with stakeholders.
• Publish weekly project status reports and maintain division technical specifications.
• Maintain regular contact with plants to monitor long-term project performance.
