Job summary

Amcor is seeking aSenior Project Manager to lead complex capital projects in PET preforms and rigid containers across multiple sites. You will drive product reviews from a manufacturing perspective, oversee budgeting, timing and productivity improvements, and coordinate with regional leaders to meet project goals.

The role requires seven+ years in engineering and project management within plastics packaging, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Experience managing direct reports and multi-resource projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with SPC and manufacturing process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create bills of materials for new capital projects and support capital appropriation.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are incorporated into scope and budget.
• Refine feasibility studies into action plans meeting cost and timing criteria.
• Review plant infrastructure, layout and equipment against project requirements.
