Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Levels I & II) to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain production line equipment in a GMP environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with washouts, and support bi-annual deep-clean sanitization procedures to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, or trade school.
• Experience: 5 Years high-speed packaging line maintenance including plumbing and basic electrical.
• Must be able to read, interpret manuals, blueprints and SOPs; strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for major programs and projects.
• Perform daily work assignments and respond to repairs on production lines.
• Log repairs and maintain pistons during washouts; handle change parts for cleaning.
• Conduct line size changeovers and monthly preventive maintenance; support deep cleaning and sanitization.
