Job summary

USPL in North Brunswick, NJ, seeks a Mechanic, Maintenance (PKG.) to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging lines and related equipment. Role includes preventive maintenance and changeovers; safety and quality training are part of daily tasks.

The position requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, ability to read schematics, and experience in a regulated manufacturing setting. First shift, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing (Level 2).
• 5+ years in regulated manufacturing preferred (Level 3).
• Knowledge of cGMP, OSHA and equipment schematics.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on packaging lines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Plan and execute changeovers, calibrations, and adjustments.
• Mentor Level 1 technicians and support safety audits.
