Job summary

JAK Diversified II INC in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support packaging operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of line equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The position requires 5+ years of experience, GMP knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints. You will coordinate line setups, mentor Operators, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or technical degree required.
• 5+ years’ experience as maintenance mechanic.
• Knowledge of GMPs.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery (bottle, pouch, cartoning, thermoform, blisters).
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all packaging machinery.
• Set up production lines as directed by management.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain production schedules.
• Disassemble, repair or replace worn parts; fabricate parts as needed.
• Inspect equipment for quality, safety, and performance.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Train Operators and assist in troubleshooting.
• Read SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform electrical troubleshooting.
