Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of related experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design
- Master's degree and 6 years of related experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design
- Associate's degree and 10 years of related experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of related experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of packaging engineers supporting commercial operations and resolve production issues
- Drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deviations and implement effective CAPAs
- Improve packaging line performance through equipment reliability, process robustness, and efficiency
- Own packaging configurations, specifications, and maintenance of the qualified state for products
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and External Supply to ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, waste, and variability
- Support change control activities across internal and external sites
- Provide regular updates to site leadership on performance and improvement efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional, network, and external partners to align on standards
- Manage resources and priorities to meet production schedules and business needs
- Provide technical oversight to external partners and suppliers serving packaging operations
