Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of work experience for Bachelor's track or 8+ years for Master's track.
• Experience in high-speed package design including signal integrity and PDN.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for package layout and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex package design programs from concept through tapeout and delivery.
• Optimize package pinouts, stack-ups, PDN, and high-speed routing for performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with silicon floor planning, SI/PI, and manufacturing teams for design quality.
• Work with layout editors and implementation teams to ensure designs meet interface and manufacturing requirements.
• Serve as the technical and organizational leader of the San Jose package design team and mentor engineers.
• Develop and grow package design capability within the team and enable ownership of complex programs.
• Coordinate resources across designers, editors, and contractors to support efficient execution.
• Enhance package design methodologies and partner with vendors to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Drive innovation in package solutions for next-generation Cisco ASIC platforms.
