Job summary

AF Group is seeking a senior underwriting professional to lead new market and product development for multiple commercial lines, guiding product design, coverage language, and implementation through the Product Development Life Cycle.

The role emphasizes regulatory expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise-wide governance standards to ensure consistent processes and high-quality outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of commercial property and casualty underwriting.
• Strong multi-line commercial P&C experience with large and small accounts.
• CIC/AU/CPCU or progress toward designation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Math, Finance, or related field.
• Continuous learning as defined by company's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes underwriting trends, laws, and best practices; recommends actions.
• Develops admitted and non-admitted forms and coordinates rate development.
• Identifies improvement opportunities; advises management on solutions.
• Develops and presents training programs at unit and enterprise levels.
• Acts as technical expert; responds to inquiries from units and Bureau.
• Leads new market and product development across multiple lines.
• Translates requirements into functional designs and technology solutions.
• Maintains confidentiality of processed information.
