Job summary

Kin Insurance seeks a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into actionable requirements for engineering and technical delivery. You will own the lifecycle of requirements across launches, endorsements, and coverage changes, working with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation.

You will document current and future-state processes, define acceptance criteria, and lead UAT to validate product changes before broader release.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a business/systems analyst or similar role in P&C insurance.
• Translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product.
• Knowledge of insurance product lifecycle in policy administration systems.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings.
• Partnering with Engineering/IT in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
• Synthesizing stakeholder input into clearly documented decisions.
• Proficiency with JIra/Confluence/Smartsheet or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and rate changes.
• Translate business decisions into clear requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews before release.
• Document current/future-state processes and maintain traceability.
• Define acceptance criteria and data mappings for implementation.
