Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into precise, implementation-ready requirements across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Engineering, and Tech Product. You will own the lifecycle for new products, state launches, and coverage changes while ensuring alignment from discovery through deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar role, including 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
• Working knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle and how product decisions are configured in policy systems.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and documentation.
• Experience partnering with Engineering/IT in an Agile or iterative delivery environment; ability to clarify requirements and validate with UAT.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, rating updates, and compliance.
• Become the go-to resource for teams needing accurate, implementation-ready requirements.
• Translate business decisions on products, filings, forms, and rules into clear business requirements and specs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and maintain alignment from decision through deployment.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product validation before broad release.
