Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into precise requirements for engineering and tech product teams. You will own the requirements lifecycle across new products, state launches, and policy changes, collaborating with Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, and Operations to ensure accurate implementation.

You will translate business rules into clear specs, drive UAT, and maintain alignment from business decisions through deployment,

Qualifications

• Translating insurance product concepts (coverages, forms, endorsements) into structured requirements
• Experience with policy administration systems and rating configurations
• Creating user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and process flows
• Collaborating with engineering/IT in Agile delivery and UAT

Responsibilities

• Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, forms, and endorsements
• Translate business decisions into clear business and functional specs for Engineering/Tech Product
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review processes
• Document current-state processes and define future-state workflows
• Identify gaps, dependencies, and compliance requirements before development begins
• Manage changes across rating, policy administration, billing, and claims
