Job summary

Kin Insurance seeks a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate insurance product decisions into systems that work as intended. This role sits at the intersection of insurance product development, operations, and technical delivery, and requires deep P&C knowledge.

You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, rating updates, and compliance, partnering with product, actuarial, underwriting, and engineering to ensure

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar role, including 3+ years in P&C insurance
Experience translating insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering
Working knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle in policy administration systems
Experience producing user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria
Experience partnering with Engineering or IT in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, rating updates, and compliance requirements
Translate business decisions into clear business requirements and functional specifications
Partner with multiple teams to gather inputs, resolve ambiguity, and maintain alignment through deployment
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to confirm changes are implemented correctly
