Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into precise, engineer-ready requirements across multiple teams. You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, filings, and state configurations, driving clarity from discovery to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as business/systems analyst, with 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translate insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
• Working knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle and policy administration systems.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and documentation.
• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, rating updates, and compliance requirements.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, business reviews, and beta-validation prior to broad release.
• Document current-state processes and future-state workflows; manage changes during delivery.
• Build user stories, process flows, decision tables, data mappings, and acceptance criteria for developers.
• Partner with multiple teams to gather inputs, resolve ambiguity, and maintain alignment from decision to deployment.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and downstream impacts before development begins.
