Kin Insurance seeks a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to turn product decisions into implementable requirements. You will work across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Engineering, and Tech Product to ensure accurate deployment of changes as Kin expands into new states and products.

You’ll own the requirements lifecycle for new products, filings, and state configurations, building acceptance criteria and user stories for engineering teams while driving

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a business/systems analyst
• 3+ years in P&C insurance
• Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings
• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery, including UAT and validation
• Synthesizing inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear decisions
• Managing requirements across multiple products, states, and initiatives

Responsabilités

• Own requirements lifecycle for insurance products and state changes from discovery to implementation
• Translate decisions on products, filings, forms, endorsements, ratings, and eligibility into clear requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and maintain alignment from decision to deployment
• Document current and future state processes and manage changes throughout delivery
• Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and downstream impacts before development begins
• Assess impact of proposed rules and recommend alternatives to reduce friction and cost
• Build user stories, data maps, decision tables, and acceptance criteria for developers
• Own requirement questions during development as primary contact
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and beta validation
• Drive launch readiness with documentation, checklists, and templates
