Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the full construction lifecycle for complex facilities supporting our logistics network. You will manage design oversight, external partners, budgets, and procurement, delivering projects from design through handover across multiple sites.

You will mentor other construction managers, drive best practices, and present decisions to Directors and VPs while traveling up to 60% and coordinating with internal teams for seamless

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as Architect/Engineer/CM or related construction discipline
• 7+ years of project management experience from design through handover
• 7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative and primary construction integrator for complex projects across your region
• Oversee end-to-end project management, design services, and external partner performance
• Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals; lead procurement functions
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and management of developers, GCs, architects, and design consultants
• Oversee design and engineering of complex projects, including conformance reviews and value engineering
• Develop project strategies and allocate resources to execute them
• Monitor performance metrics, risks, escalations, and corrective actions
• Coordinate with authorities for permitting, compliance, and approvals
• Champion safety programs and set safety culture standards
