Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services NA Design & Construction team seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead the full lifecycle of complex facilities projects across the region. You will autonomously oversee design, procurement, construction, and handover, coordinating with internal teams to equip and operate facilities.

You will mentor other construction managers, influence safety culture, and present trade-offs to Directors and VPs. Travel is 60% with relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM; scheduling software like Primavera or MS Project.
• 7+ years in architecture/engineering/construction management; 7+ years PM experience; 7+ years negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior owner's representative and primary construction integrator for complex projects.
• Oversee end-to-end project management, design services, and external partner performance.
• Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals; lead project procurement.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and management of developers, GCs, architects, and consultants.
• Oversee design and engineering, including evaluations and value engineering.
• Develop project strategies and allocate resources to execute them.
