Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New York is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to act as the senior owner's representative across the region, delivering complex built facilities and infrastructure for the logistics network.

You will lead end-to-end construction lifecycle, manage design, procurement, and external partners, own budgets, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with internal teams for handover. This role requires 60% travel and relocation flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM; scheduling software such as Primavera or MS Project.
• 7+ years of experience as Architect/Engineer/Construction Manager or related field.
• 7+ years of project management spanning design to handover.
• 7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative and construction integrator for complex projects across the region.
• Oversee end-to-end project management services, design services, and external partner performance.
• Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals; lead procurement functions.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and management of developers, general contractors, architects, and design consultants.
• Oversee design and engineering with conformance reviews and value engineering.
• Develop project strategies and allocate resources to execute them.
• Monitor performance metrics, manage risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with AHJ for permitting, regulatory compliance, and approvals.
