Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. Texas seeks a Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to guide projects from pre-design through completion, ensuring alignment with contract documents and client goals.

This role requires coordinating with owners, design teams, and contractors while delivering scope, schedule, and budget. Candidates must have a civil engineering or related degree with 5–10+ years in construction, strong communication and leadership skills, and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field from an accredited program.
• 5–10+ years’ experience in a construction related discipline.
• Experience with higher education, municipal or county projects involving active management and coordination with government/Owner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
• Develop and oversee project management plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with the client and project team and manage sub-consultants.
• Prepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurement.
• Review and approve contractor invoicing and prepare client invoices.
• Oversee and manage assigned staff.
• Communicate effectively to ensure alignment with contract documents.
