Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a Construction Management Representative to oversee projects in various locations across the United States. The role requires coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality controls are met.

Travel to remote sites is expected, with a living-expense allowance provided. The ideal candidate has at least five years of CM/CMR experience, OSHA 30-hour training, and proficiency with Primavera P6

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience acting as a Construction Manager, Construction Management Representative, Owner’s Representative or Construction Superintendent.
• Experience using MS Excel or related cost estimating software to develop independent cost estimates for change order negotiations.
• Experience reviewing engineering designs, contractor shop drawings or vendor specs for constructability and adherence to standards.
• Willingness to travel to various locations within the United States and work away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, facility occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
• Manage project schedule from inception to close out.
• Lead project job-site meetings.
• Review contractor work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review and approve contractor monthly requisitions and invoices.
• Efficient change order management and cost control.
• Report on project issues and provide status updates.
• Perform other duties as required.
