WPS Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Overpayment Recovery Specialist to guide the team in managing workload, training staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role supports complex cases, audits, and process improvements across recovery operations.

The position emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and adherence to HIPAA and privacy standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams to enhance recovery workflows and reporting.

Formación

• Two or more years Medicare Financial/Overpayment Recovery experience.
• Knowledge of Overpayment Recovery Regulations.
• Ability to train new employees and mentor staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with internal/external audit processes.
• Ability to handle complex financial cases.

Responsabilidades

• Assist supervisor with workload monitoring and escalation.
• Mentor new employees and provide process training.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports.
• Interpret regulations and revise work instructions.
• Research and respond to complex Overpayment Recovery cases.
• Perform audits and quality reviews of unit work.
• Assist in audit processes including CMS and SSAE-16.
• Ensure process consistency and test system changes.
• Provide privacy compliance per HIPAA.
