Job summary

WPS Health Solutions in the United States is seeking a Senior Overpayment Recovery Specialist to help direct workflow and coordinate activities within the department. You will mentor staff, support complex case resolution, and contribute to audit readiness.

Open to remote work in listed states with production shifts and formal training. This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory interpretation, and cross‑functional collaboration within the Recovery Team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years Medicare Financial/Overpayment Recovery experience.
• Knowledge of Overpayment Recovery Regulations and related procedures.
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply to manuals and guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with monitoring department workload inventories for timely handling.
• Mentor new employees and provide process training.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports.
• Interpret regulations and develop/revise work instructions and manuals.
• Research and respond to complex Overpayment Recovery cases.
• Participate in internal and external audit processes.
