Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Technical Specialist, Outside Property to manage complex 1st party property claims across Maryland. The role involves in-person inspections at residences and commercial properties, coverage evaluation, and settlements with a focus on timely, fair resolutions.

Travel is required to service multiple locations, with a company vehicle provided. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of property claim experience, and an active adjuster

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three to four years of property claim experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage, investigate, and document highly complex 1st party property claims.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and third-party vendors.
• Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts and information to determine coverage.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents.
• Provide timely and professional communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and coordinate resources.
