Travelers is seeking a Technical Specialist, Outside Property, to manage complex 1st party property claims with in-person inspections across assigned territories. You’ll analyze contracts, assess damages, and negotiate settlements in a fast-paced, high-exposure environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of property claims experience, plus an active adjuster license where applicable. Remote work with travel is common, and we offer comprehensive benefits and incentives.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Three years of property claim experience in both personal and business insurance.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Experience with claims management and estimating software; advanced MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage, investigate, and document highly complex 1st party property claims with minimal oversight.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and third-party vendors.
• Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts and determine coverage for property damages.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for buildings and contents; prepare estimates.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements with contractors and insureds within authority.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems and train others as needed.
• Adapt to new technologies, systems, and AI tools while maintaining quality.
• Acquire and maintain required insurance licenses and certifications.
• Travel as needed to service assigned territories and inspect sites.
