Job summary

AHEAD in the United States seeks a Principal Technical Consultant, Operational Technology, to lead OT assessments and advisory engagements across clients in manufacturing and energy sectors. You will guide discovery, architecture, and roadmaps while collaborating with plant leadership and CISOs.

This hands-on senior role requires deep OT and cybersecurity expertise, experience leading teams, and the ability to present complex findings to executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering complex technology and OT/IC solutions.
• Experience leading OT assessments, architecture, and modernization engagements.
• Strong understanding of control-system architectures and industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA).
• OT networking and security depth including DMZs, segmentation, remote access, and monitoring.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executive audiences and guide workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT assessments and SRDP engagements with clients.
• Plan and facilitate discovery workshops, site visits, and executive sessions.
• Develop current-state and future-state architecture views and roadmaps.
• Own the technical quality of deliverables and present findings to stakeholders.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to reusable OT methods and templates.
