Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Principal OT Product Security Architect in Atlanta to lead security architecture across hardware, software, robotics and connected OT systems. You will collaborate with engineering, product management and security leadership to embed secure-by-design practices from design to deployment.

The role demands deep OT/ICS expertise, strong communication and the ability to influence across teams without direct authority, with hybrid work in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, OT/ICS security, product security or related field.
• Experience designing, implementing, or assessing OT cybersecurity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain OT cybersecurity architecture, requirements, security standards and reference architectures for industrial products.
• Lead security architecture reviews across OT, software, controls engineering, networking and cloud environments.
• Design and evaluate secure network architectures including segmentation, industrial DMZs, firewalls and secure remote access.
• Embed secure-by-design and DevSecOps practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Establish cybersecurity requirements for products, embedded components and deployments.
• Lead or support threat modeling, vulnerability assessments and security architecture evaluations.
• Develop risk-based vulnerability remediation strategies balancing availability, reliability and safety.
• Define OT security monitoring requirements and integrate with customer security operations.
• Translate security frameworks and regulations into actionable engineering controls and requirements.
• Support product certifications, conformity assessments, audits and customer security reviews.
• Conduct OT cybersecurity assessments and recommend remediation strategies for identified risks.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Software/Controls Engineering, Infrastructure and Ops.
