Job summary

IOActive, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant, OT to lead complex OT security engagements, spanning industrial control systems and embedded devices. You will mentor junior consultants, contribute to methodology, and drive technical leadership within IOActive’s OT practice.

You’ll apply threat modeling, non-disruptive testing, and cross-functional collaboration with client teams to improve safety, availability, and security at industrial sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive security services with 2–3 years in OT/critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on engagement delivery across OT domains including pen testing, threat modeling, and embedded devices.
• Familiarity with OT standards and frameworks; ability to travel ~30%.
• Experience working with plant operations and understanding safety, availability, and process integrity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical voice in client discussions and workshops.
• Lead OT engagements, owning technical approach, testing, and findings.
• Protect critical assets using non-disruptive OT assessment methodologies.
• Perform hands-on work across industrial protocols and embedded devices.
• Conduct Purdue-model-based network reviews and risk identification.
• Lead OT threat modeling tailored to safety and process integrity.
