Akkodis is hiring a Senior OT Network Design Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise OT networks across San Antonio, Findlay, Denver, and Pittsburgh. The role is hybrid with 4 days in office and 1 day remote, and travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and related tools.
• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish networking environments through system configuration and installation.
• Define, document, and enforce network standards.
• Design and implement new network solutions and improve resilience of existing environments.
• Monitor and maximize network performance.
• Troubleshoot network problems, outages, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with network architects on network optimization initiatives.
• Perform data network fault investigations across LAN and WAN environments.
• Secure network systems through enforcement of policies and access controls.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation technologies.
• Conduct network traffic analysis and performance optimization activities
