Job summary

Appathon seeks a Senior OT Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust OT networks that optimize industrial processes. You will drive IT/OT integration and mentor junior engineers while leading security-focused initiatives.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, scalable networks, and stay ahead of OT cybersecurity trends and technologies to protect facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on OT environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing OT network architectures.
• Strong understanding of OT networking protocols, firewalls, and IDS for OT environments.
• Familiarity with Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET.
• Experience with security frameworks including NIST and IEC 62443.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CCNP or CISSP are a plus.
