Akkodis is hiring a Senior OT Network Design Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise OT networks across San Antonio, Findlay, Denver, and Pittsburgh. The role is hybrid with 4 days in office and 1 day remote, and travel up to 25% as needed.

• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and related tools.
• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish networking environments through system configuration and installation.
• Define, document, and enforce network standards.
• Design and implement new network solutions and improve resilience of existing environments.
• Monitor and maximize network performance.
• Troubleshoot network problems, outages, and connectivity issues.

Akkodis is looking for a OT Network Design Engineer - Senior in San Antonio, TX/Findlay, OH/ Denver, CO/Pittsburgh, PA.

Hybrid : 4 days office/1 day Remote.

Pay Range: $55- $75 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

We are seeking an experienced OT Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise and operational technology network environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in routing protocols, SD-WAN technologies, network monitoring tools, and network infrastructure management within complex environments.

• Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.
• Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.

Job Requirements

Networking

• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and related tools.
• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark.

Windows Server Administration

• Familiarity with Windows security practices such as patch management, firewall configuration, and access control.

Network Management

• Strong background in TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, and routing.
• Experience configuring and managing switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of VPNs, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Skilled in network traffic analysis, diagnosing connectivity issues, and performance optimization.
