Job summary

Target Corp. is seeking a Senior Owner’s Site Representative to support construction projects across store and distribution center builds in California.

This role can be remote or hybrid, with duties including overseeing on-site construction, coordinating with general contractors, and ensuring adherence to plans, budgets, and schedules. You will assist the Construction Project Manager, review reports, manage change, mentor junior OSRs, and deliver turnover packages to Store Operations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of on-site construction management experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor others.
• Proficient in MS Office 365.
• Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Trello, Slack, Kanban, Smartsheet.
• Willingness to travel ~100%

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction PM with Gmax reviews and ensure materials and fixtures are received and reconciled.
• Inspect contractor QC programs and oversee schedule development and site activities.
• Coordinate with Target Properties and Store Operations to maintain alignment.
• Manage change and resolve communication conflicts, delays, and performance issues.
• Mentor new OSRs and support problem jobs.
• Deliver Construction Turnover Packages to Store Operations and Building Services.
