Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Senior Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction in Carson City, NV to lead the launch of new markets and scale fiber build programs. This hands‑on role requires deep FTTH construction expertise, strong production discipline, and the ability to drive quality and performance at the crew level.

The position oversees contractors and internal teams, ensuring homes-passed targets are met safely, on schedule, and within budget, with travel across markets as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 10 years of OSP experience including splicing and construction.
• At least 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Willingness to travel across markets.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stand-up of new market operations including contractor onboarding and build readiness.
• Accountable for staffing, budgets (capital/expense), schedules and compliance for OSP construction projects, plus safety and quality of work.
• Oversee development, coordination, and execution of project schedules with contractors, property management, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with municipalities and pole owners in new markets.
• Oversee bidding, negotiation, and approval of construction contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to maintain uninterrupted construction flow across active zones.
