Ziply Fiber in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Senior Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction to lead field operations, scale new market builds and ensure safe, on-time delivery of FTTH projects.

The role oversees contractor crews, budgets and schedules, partners with municipalities, and drives standardization across programs while mentoring OSP managers and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years of OSP experience including splicing and construction.
• Five years of leadership/people management.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contractor crews.
• Experience in multi-market or multi-state programs.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance; clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Stand up new market operations including contractor onboarding and readiness.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and safety/quality of OSP construction.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and execute project schedules.
• Partner with municipalities and pole owners in new markets.
• Oversee bidding, negotiation, and approval of construction contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to maintain uninterrupted construction flow.
• Translate expansion strategy into field execution across markets.
• Track production metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Standardize construction practices across programs.
• Lead and mentor OSP Construction Managers and Contractors.
• Own end-to-end construction delivery from design to activation.
• Identify risks and mitigate proactively.
• Support cross-functional meetings and implementation of best practices.
