Job summary

Socomec North America is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Coordinator to lead and optimize customer order execution. You will act as the SME and escalation point for order management, invoicing, and service activities, driving performance and process improvements across the lifecycle.

You will mentor team members, improve operational processes, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Finance to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in business administration, technical field or related area.
• 5+ years in customer service or order management in B2B/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing complex or project-based orders in cross-functional settings.
• ERP systems and MS Office proficiency; strong data handling and reporting.
• Ability to anticipate risks and drive improvements across the order lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers and sales teams, providing proactive order updates.
• Oversee complex orders end-to-end, tracking timelines and dependencies for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate across Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align priorities.
• Ensure same-day invoicing aligns with shipments and improves billing cycles.
• Investigate invoicing discrepancies and close month-end accurately.
