Job summary

Socomec in Suwanee, Georgia, is seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Coordinator to lead and optimize the execution of customer orders, serving as a subject-matter-expert and escalation point for order management, invoicing and customer service across the order lifecycle.

This role proactively prevents issues, improves operational processes, mentors team members, and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer service or order management within a B2B or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong experience managing complex or project-based orders and cross-functional work.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers and sales teams, managing inquiries and providing proactive updates throughout the order lifecycle.
• Oversee and manage complex, high-value/high-volume, or project-based orders end-to-end, monitoring timelines, risks, and dependencies for on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across Production, Engineering, and Supply-chain to resolve issues and align priorities.
• Own same-day shipment and invoicing alignment, ensuring invoices accompany shipment to improve billing cycle performance.
• Lead investigation and resolution of invoicing discrepancies and billing issues, ensuring accuracy before month-end close.
• Own data integrity across order lifecycle, identifying gaps and implementing controls to improve reporting reliability.
