Job summary

Communications & Power Industries seeks a Lead Customer Order Coordinator to manage complex orders and supervise a team within the Program Management Office. The role blends order-management discipline with program coordination across engineering, operations, and planning to meet delivery commitments.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Sales and customers, manage escalations, and drive improvements in order entry, status reporting, and documentation across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in customer order management or related roles.
• Experience coordinating complex orders and cross-functional activities in manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Experience with ERP or similar systems for order entry and tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership to Customer Coordinators and oversee order execution.
• Ensure ERP order entry is accurate and aligns with quotations and contracts.
• Manage order lifecycles including revisions and supporting records.
• Coordinate scheduling, delivery milestones, and reporting for stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
• Drive process improvements and maintain standard work templates.
