Job summary

Grant Thornton International Ltd in New York seeks an HCM Technical Lead to deliver scalable Oracle HCM solutions for People & Culture, guiding internal teams and external partners.

You will own end-to-end solution design, configuration, integration, and testing, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and SDLC standards while coordinating with P&C Product Owners.

Travel as needed and lead a cross‑functional team across geographies to meet quarterly releases and the 18‑month roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced or Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience delivering enterprise HCM solutions, with deep hands‑on Oracle HCM Cloud expertise.
• Proven experience leading full lifecycle Oracle HCM implementations, including design, build, test, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge across modules: Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation.
• Experience with Oracle HCM integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, HDL, and middleware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of Oracle HCM solutions supporting People & Culture, including Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, and Compensation modules.
• Own end‑to‑end Oracle HCM solution design, ensuring functional requirements are translated into scalable technical designs aligned with enterprise standards.
• Direct configuration, development, module extensions, integrations, and reporting within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards, including requirements traceability, design reviews, testing strategy, release planning, and stage‑gate governance.
• Lead and coordinate technical teams across geographies, including Oracle developers, integration specialists, data specialists, and external system integrators.
• Oversee testing strategies (unit, SIT, regression) and support UAT; manage quarterly releases and regression testing.
• Partner with P&C Product Owners and Business Process SMEs to clarify requirements, perform impact analysis, and design solutions aligned to box capabilities.
• Oversee vendor and SI performance, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery while maintaining security and compliance.
