Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an HCM Technical Lead to drive end-to-end Oracle HCM solutions across multiple P&C modules. The role leads technical delivery teams, partners with product owners, and ensures architecture, SDLC, and security standards are met.

You will coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and data analytics teams, manage quarterly releases, and plan for an 18-month roadmap in a hybrid work model in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced or Master’s degree preferred.
• 12 years of progressive experience delivering enterprise HCM solutions with deep hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud expertise.
• Proven experience leading full lifecycle Oracle HCM implementations, including design, build, test, and deployment.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge across multiple Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, and Compensation.
• Experience with Oracle HCM integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, HDL, and middleware platforms.
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM security models, roles, privileges, and data access controls.
• Experience managing quarterly Oracle Cloud releases and regression testing cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery teams across multiple geographies.
• Experience working with system integrators and external vendors, including performance management and quality oversight.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical delivery of Oracle HCM solutions supporting People & Culture modules (Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, and Compensation).
• Owning end-to-end Oracle HCM solution design, translating requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with enterprise standards.
• Directing configuration, development, module extensions, integrations, and reporting within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.
• Ensuring adherence to GTech SDLC standards, including requirements traceability, design reviews, testing strategy, release planning, and stage-gate governance.
• Leading and coordinating technical teams across geographies, including external system integrators.
• Overseeing the execution of testing strategies (unit, SIT, regression, UAT) and go-live readiness.
• Managing Oracle quarterly releases, coordinating regression testing, and adoption of new functionality.
• Partnering with P&C Product Owners and SMEs to clarify requirements, analyze impact, and design out-of-the-box solutions.
• Leveraging a Design Review Board approach for platform customization where needed.
• Overseeing vendor performance, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, and maintaining security/compliance.
