Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) is seeking an Oracle HCM – Absence Management, HRIS Senior Associate to join the in-house People & Culture/HRIS Technology team. The role focuses on configuring, validating, and supporting global leave programs using Oracle HCM Absence Management while aligning with firm policies and compliance across jurisdictions.

You will lead testing cycles, coordinate integrations with Dayshape and Snowflake, and partner with Payroll, Benefits, and regional HR teams to optimize absence

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HRIS or leave of absence experience with Oracle HCM Absence Management.
• Experience supporting leave programs across multiple states, countries, or regions.
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data structures, workflows, and integrations.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues, interpret data, and implement practical solutions.
• Experience leading project workstreams, testing, or process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Oracle HCM Absence Management for global leave plans.
• Lead or coordinate testing cycles (UAT, SIT) and quarterly system updates.
• Support data integrations with Dayshape, Snowflake, and reporting tools.
• Provide Tier 1 absence support and collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and HR teams.
• Document configurations, processes, and controls; ensure compliance with policies.
