Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer to lead Oracle HCM integrations, driving architecture, implementation, and operations across HR systems. Remote to start, with eventual hybrid work near major hubs as conversions occur.

The role demands hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud and OIC expertise, strong API and integration skills, and leadership to guide cross‑functional teams through design, development, and production support within a contract‑to‑hire arrangement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise app engineering, HCM or integrations.
• Hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, HCM APIs, HDL/HSDL, and Visual Builder.
• REST/SOAP, middleware, iPaaS, SFTP/file transfers, event-driven integrations.
• Experience with architecture, design, and production support at scale.
• Knowledge of Agile, Jira, release management, and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of Oracle HCM integrations.
• Serve as technical lead and escalation point for HCM issues.
• Architect integrations with payroll, benefits, retirement, and identity systems.
• Provide reviews, testing oversight, deployment support, and troubleshooting.
• Establish CI/CD, source control, monitoring, and release practices.
• Develop runbooks and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Security, IT, and vendors.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards.
• Support roadmap planning, vendor management, and delivery execution.
• Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, and Jira reporting.
