Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications, writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, and troubleshooting issues.

You will support business processes, collaborate with functional teams, and handle data migration and integrations using XML Publisher or APIs.

The role requires deep Oracle EBS expertise, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, and a proven record in financial modules such as GL, AP, AR.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools and a strong understanding of the EBS architecture.
• Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge focusing on GL, Cash Management, and Treasury Management modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Good grasp of business processes, especially in financials (AP, AR, GL) or other functional modules.
• Experience with data integrity, system optimization, and working within an SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for up to 36 credit hours.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Oracle EBS: design and build custom apps, reports, extensions, and workflows.
• Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher, APIs).
• Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance and data integrity.
• Conduct functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Create and maintain detailed development documentation.
