Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications in Salt Lake City. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues, supporting business processes and data migrations.

Ideal candidates have deep SQL/PLSQL skills, Oracle EBS R12 experience, and a solid understanding of GL/AP/AR; a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is required, with extensive experience and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with EBS development tools and understanding of EBS architecture.
• Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge with GL, Cash Management, and Treasury modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues.
• Good grasp of business processes, especially in financials (AP, AR, GL).
• Experience with SDLC, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom Oracle EBS applications, reports, extensions, and workflows.
• Integration: build and maintain data migration interfaces using XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support and root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
• System administration: perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed documentation for development processes and solutions.
