Job summary

SMX seeks accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL, configure modules, troubleshoot, and support business processes while collaborating with functional teams. Data migration and integrations are central to this role.

The position requires strong SQL/PL-SQL skills, deep Oracle EBS knowledge (R12, GL, AP/AR), and a BA/BS in a related field. A background in SDLC and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with EBS development tools.
• Oracle EBS core financials knowledge (GL, Cash Management, Treasury).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills for technical/functional issues.
• Understanding of business processes in financials (AP/AR/GL).
• 15 years of related experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
• Build interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher or APIs).
• Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure system performance and data integrity.
• Test functional components (RICE: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
