Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle EBS professional to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues while supporting business processes and data migrations.

The role emphasizes integration work, SDLC compliance, and collaboration with functional teams to ensure system functionality aligns with client requirements. A bachelor’s degree and extensive Oracle EBS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite module architecture and GL, AP, AR.
• Experience in data migration, interfaces, and SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle APEX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Oracle EBS applications, reports, extensions, and workflows.
• Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher, APIs).
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support and perform root-cause analysis.
• Perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Conduct functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Create and maintain detailed development documentation.
