Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced Associate to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications in Salem, Oregon. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues to align with client requirements.

You will support business processes, work with functional teams, and contribute to data migration and integration efforts, leveraging SQL/PLSQL and Oracle EBS tools within the SDLC framework.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools.
• Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge (GL, Cash Management, Treasury).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of financials like AP, AR, GL.
• Experience with SDLC and data integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom apps, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS.
• Integration: build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher or APIs).
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis.
• System administration: analyze systems, perform upgrades, ensure performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed development documentation.
