Job summary

SMX is seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Associate to design, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS applications. Responsibilities include writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, data migration, and integrations to meet client requirements.

You will work with SQL/PLSQL, Oracle EBS modules, and SDLC processes in a collaborative environment, supporting business processes and system performance with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools and architecture knowledge.
• Oracle EBS core financials knowledge with GL, Cash Management and Treasury modules experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business processes in financials (AP, AR, GL).
• Experience with data integrity, system optimization, and SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute per policy.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom Oracle EBS applications, reports, extensions and workflows.
• Integration: build interfaces for data migration and integrations using XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• System administration: analyze, upgrade, and ensure performance, stability and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed development documentation.
