Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis, design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite solutions for complex business needs. The role emphasizes working with stakeholders, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote setting with travel.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust required.
• Commercial treasury and cash management implementation experience.
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and modules (Finance, Procurement).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience; postgraduate study may substitute for up to 36 credit hours.
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features and configurations.
• Design and translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects to production.
• Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist in UAT.
• Provide ongoing end-user support; troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Bridge business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and integration.
• Analyze existing processes and identify efficiency improvements using Oracle EBS.
• Develop system and user documentation and deliver training for new functionalities.
