Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Senior Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. This role requires an active clearance and is remote with some travel.

Essential duties include requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives. Minimum 10 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust required (sponsor dependent).
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, Contract LifeCycle Management (CLM).
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field; postgraduate study may substitute.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features and configurations.
• Translate business needs into functional specs and design Oracle EBS solutions.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements and support projects to production.
• Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist UAT.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with tech teams.
• Bridge between business units and technical teams to ensure integration.
• Analyze processes to identify improvements using Oracle EBS.
• Develop system and user documentation and deliver training.
