Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role requires an active clearance and is remote with some travel.

Key duties include requirements gathering, design of EBS-based solutions, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and align systems with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust required.
• Experience with treasury, cash management, and LOA configuration.
• Deep accounting knowledge and LOA configuration expertise.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and its modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years in relevant roles; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for Oracle EBS configurations.
• Design and implement system solutions leveraging Oracle EBS.
• Configure and implement Oracle EBS modules to meet business needs.
• Develop and execute testing plans, scripts, and UAT support.
• Provide functional support and issue resolution across teams.
• Bridge business units with technical teams to ensure integration.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Oracle EBS.
• Create system and user documentation and deliver training.
