Job summary

SMX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, design and implementation, testing, training, and cross-functional collaboration to align the system with business objectives.

The role requires an active clearance or public trust and is remote with some travel. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience are expected, with strong Oracle EBS and LOA

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent)
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, Contract LifeCycle Management (CLM)
• Deep understanding accounting and LOA configuration
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x application schema and able to create queries
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; graduate study may substitute for experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Experience creating and maintaining training documentation
• Experience with MyOracleSupport and resolving Service Requests (SR)

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features and configurations
• Solution design: translate needs into functional specs and leverage Oracle EBS
• Configuration and implementation: set up Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements
• Testing: create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist UAT
• Functional support: provide ongoing end-user support and coordinate resolutions
• Collaboration: act as a bridge between business units and tech teams
• Process improvement: analyze and improve business processes using Oracle EBS
• Documentation and training: develop system and user docs and deliver training
